Kurt Angle, who couldn’t attend last night’s George Tragos/Lou Thesz Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame induction ceremony due to what was being called TNA obligations at the time, had his award auctioned off by Jerry Brisco for $250 last night.

Upon hearing of the issue, Angle took to his Twitter account to state that Jerry Brisco made a mockery out of Kurt Angle and the Dan Gable Museum Hall of Fame by auctioning off the award, that the award is a huge honor and Jerry Brisco spat on him. Kurt then noted that his obligations were not TNA Wrestling related, but related to his wedding, which is why he could not attend the Hall of Fame and that he had made a 10 minute video proudly accepting the honor and that he was disappointed he couldn’t attend, but devastated to hear that Jerry Brisco gave away his award and called Brisco a “very classy” man in the loose term.
