In an interview with FOXSports.com, former WWE and WCW Champion Bill Goldberg noted that he will be returning to the ring, but stated that he has not signed a deal with the WWE. Goldberg said that he was sick and tired of dealing with wrestling promoters and would put together a deal through his own connections to return for one more professional wrestling match.

Goldberg’s last match inside a ring in the United States came at the WrestleMania 20 pay-per-view in 2004, where he and Brock Lesnar squared off, while his last match inside the ring took place in Japan against Naoya Ogawa at a HUSTLE-1 event. Since his retirement from the ring, he has done a lot of charity work and worked as an announcer for GLORY Kickboxing.

The former WWE and WCW star has been open to a return for a long while, mostly due to his children now being old enough to see him perform, but noted that he would not return unless the right deal was in place.
