TNA Wrestling President Billy Corgan was a recent guest on SiriusXM’s Busted Open Radio show and discussed the current financial status of the company and where things stand, as of this afternoon.

Corgan was asked about the potential that this Sunday’s TNA Bound For Glory pay-per-view would not take place and said that he would be in Orlando, rain or shine and that for the last three rounds of tapings, he has been the person who has agreed to deals that have financially floated those pay-per-view and TV tapings to take place, noting that they were deals where the ink was drying as he went to the ring and said that he has done everything in his power to make sure that TNA Bound For Glory takes place from a personal and financial level, stating that he was using money from his own pile to attempt to purchase the majority ownership of TNA Wrestling and that he had put everything in place on his end.

Corgan said that the funding is part of the negotiations process and that the question is, what are the people funding the show getting for their money and said that where it gets complicated is that it is one thing to fund the company, but that it is another to set the company up to be solvent and successful and said that he did not want to be having the same conversation with Busted Open Radio in three months time and said that he has the funds to step forward, but if that means that in two months, the talents are in the same boat yet again, then what would be the point and said that all of the talents he has spoken with are on board and are hopeful that he can steer the TNA Wrestling ship going forward.

Corgan said that enough air has gone out of the balloon and that it is time to put the air back in the balloon and let it be what it can be and that if they can’t remove the black cloud, then he can’t look the talents in the eye and tell them that now they can work on moving forward and creating everything that TNA Wrestling can be, but if he can’t be in that position to look people like Eddie Edwards and Bobby Lashley in the eye and know that they are going to do busines for the next 20 years together, then he will not make a deal. Corgan asked that everyone that is listening needs to remember that there is a human element of people who perform for the company and that those who work behind the scenes that will be greatly effected by what happens to TNA Wrestling and that it is important to put them first and noted that he recently met with POP TV President Bradley Schwartz in Los Angeles and that Schwartz was very much on board with TNA Wrestling and the culture that Corgan wanted for the company and said that he wants to build a truly 21st century empire where people can kick a**.
