The lawsuit filed by former TNA Wrestling President Billy Corgan against TNA Wrestling, it’s parent company IMPACT Ventures LLC, TNA’s Dixie Carter, her husband Serg Salinas and TNA’s Chief Financial Officer Dean Broadhead was officially dismissed by the Chancery Court of Nashville, Tennessee on December 5th, according to a report from PWInsider.com.

The report notes that the lawsuit was dismissed at Corgan’s request after he came to a financial settlement with Anthem Sports & Entertainment, the parent company of The Fight Network who are now financially backing the company and that with the lawsuit officially closed, are expected to announce that they have purchased majority ownership of the company from Dixie Carter.

The report goes on to state that in the ruling dismissing the lawsuit, Chancellor Ellen Hobbs Lyle noted that Corgan would be responsible for paying all court costs and that the lawsuit was being dismissed without prejudice, which means that Corgan would be free to re-file the lawsuit down the line.
