New Japan Pro Wrestling have confirmed the blocks for the upcoming G1 CLIMAX Tournament, which will begin on July 18th and announced that Naomichi Marufuji and Katsuhiko Nakajima from the Pro Wrestling NOAH promotion will be part of the tournament, while Hiroshi Tanahashi will also compete after his injury.

BLOCK A : Togi Makabe, Satoshi Kojima, Tomohiro Ishii, Hirooki Goto, Bad Luck Fale, Tama Tonga, SANADA, Naomichi Marufuji, Kazuchika Okada and Hiroshi Tanahashi.

BLOCK B : Katsuyori Shibata, Yuji Nagata, Tomoaki Honma, Michael Elgin, Toru Yano, Tetsuya Naito, EVIL, Kenny Omega, Katsuhiko Nakajima and YOSHI-HASHI.
