WWE superstar Brie Bella took part in an interview with Lilian Garcia’s “Chasing Glory” podcast earlier this week and noted that her husband and current WWE SmackDown Live General Manager Daniel Bryan has been cleared by several doctors to return to wrestling and that as a result, WWE are examining the findings, this despite Bryan mentioning just over two weeks ago in an interview with Busted Open Radio that he believes that he has only got a 20 percent chance of being allowed to compete inside a WWE ring once again.

Brie noted in the interview with Lilian Garcia that Bryan, who has not wrestled for more than two years, due to concussion issues, has visited doctors all over the United States and has received encouragement from several of them that he may be cleared by WWE’s medical staff to make an in-ring return.

Brie said that Bryan just wishes that he was inside the ring, before noting that she was with him the day that he was told that he would have to retire due to his health issues and WWE finding him the current role as SmackDown Live General Manager, but that since then, he is trying to come back to wrestle, stating that since the day he was told he could not do it anymore, he has been active to figure our why he can’t return and what he can do to turn that no you can’t wrestle anymore into a yes, you can return to the ring type scenario.

Brie stated that Bryan has been doing oxygen chambers and anything you can imagine to prepare himself to be cleared and said that you have to love someone who is passionate like that, noting that Bryan’s passion is so strong for wrestling.

Brie also noted that all the doctors are telling him that he can wrestle and do not see what the issue is, before mentioning that WWE are looking at their findings, which is why Bryan has been really vocal lately, as he still has hope of a return to the ring and that WWE are willing to look at what the other doctors are saying.

Brie then stated that she does not blame the company for being careful when it comes to Bryan, as well as the concussion side of things, noting that Bryan gets why they are cautious and understands the company’s point of view.
