The domestic assault charges against WWE Hall of Famer Jerry Lawler and his fiancee Lauryn McBride, stemming from an incident last month where police were called to the home of Lawler after McBride called 911 and hung up before speaking have been dropped, according to a report from The Commercial Appeal in Memphis.

At the time of the incident, police could not determine the aggressor in the incident, so both were arrested, which led to Lawler being suspended by the WWE.

Speaking to the publication, Lawler’s attorney Ted Hansom stated that it was a big misunderstanding and won’t happen again and that he is happy with the outcome. For those wondering, the charges against Lawler and McBride have been scratched from their records.
