Former WWE superstar turned UFC fighter CM Punk suffered a shoulder injury in training and will not be returning to train for his UFC debut until October 14th at the earliest after he sees a physician that day, according to a report from ESPN.

Punk’s coach, Duke Roufus noted that Punk got caught in a scramble and that the injury pushes his schedule as a fighter back one match and said that Punk is currently 50% ready to fight, but will not be allowed to fight by his trainers until he is 101% ready and believed that Punk was around 6-10 months away from making his UFC debut.
