Former WWE Champion turned UFC fighter CM Punk was a recent guest on The MMA Hour with Ariel Helwani and noted that an announcement regarding his next fight will be coming soon and that he intends for it to be with the Ultimate Fighting Championship.

Punk said that while he would not disclose details of a private conversation that he had with UFC’s Dana White, he did tell White that he would be fighting in the MMA world once again, whether the UFC decided to retain him or release him and stated that right now, an idea is on the drawing board.
