ROH World Champion Cody Rhodes was a guest on Sirius XM’s Busted Open Radio show earlier today and commented on plans for the self-financed 10,000 seater wrestling event at some time in 2018.

Cody noted that he can’t reveal too much until the location is locked and confirmed, but that if he could face off against a dream opponent at the event, then that opponent would be current WWE SmackDown Live General Manager Daniel Bryan, who interestingly enough is out of contract with the WWE next Summer.

Former WWE and ECW superstar and current Ring of Honor superstar Bully Ray, who is a co-host of the show asked Cody why himself and The Young Bucks are doing this and self-financing such an event, to which Cody said that they want to leave the wrestling business better than when they found it.
