The following results are from a recent Combat Zone Wrestling internet pay-per-view event. The event took place on August 5th, 2017 at the Flyers Skate Zone in Voorhees, New Jersey.
Aerial Assault Match
Ace Romero defeated Ken Broadway, Smiley, Mike Greca, Brandon Watts, Jason Gory, Anthony Bennett, Kit Osbourne, Pandita and Jimmy Lloyd. Post-match, Greg Excellent came out and cut a promo on Ace Romero. There was then a video on the screen for CCK (Chris Brookes & Kid Lykos), which led to The Rep coming out, asking who CCK were and complaining that they were not getting opportunities, demanding a title shot. Maven Bentley came out and told them that if they want a title shot, then they need to earn it and said that he is the boss and said that they will be in the Chris Cash Memorial Ladder Match and if they win, then they can face Private Party.
CZW Wired Championship Match
Maxwell Jacob Friedman (c) defeated John Silver.
Triple Threat Tag Team Match
The Storm Of Entrails (Dan O’Hare & SHLAK) defeated The Awakening (Stockade & G-Raver) and Hideki Hosaka & RAIJIN-Yaguchi.
Singles Match
Tim Donst defeated Austin Shakespeare.
CZW Championship Match
Shane Strickland (c) defeated MASADA.
In Ring Segment
Larry Legend came to the ring to announce the two main matches, however Joe Gacy and a group of other masked men came out. Joe Gacy came to the ring and headbutted Larry, stating that other than Matt Tremont, there are no other CZW originals. Gacy said that the show was full of a bunch of people that he does not even know, who are ready to go take a deal to go elsewhere and said that he hoped everyone in the back was listening, because there is not going to be any politics here and said that he was tired of people using the place to get to greener pastures, but he is not doing that. The group of masked men came to the ring and brought in a barbed wire board, placing it in the corner. Gacy said that part timers like Larry Legend are what is ruining Combat Zone Wrestling and the business as a whole and said that if Combat Zone Wrestling was going to remove barbed wire from its logo, then he was putting it back into Combat Zone Wrestling. Gacy beat up Larry Legend, ripped off his suit and put him through the table.
Singles Match (The Final Chapter)
Lio Rush defeated Joey Janela. Post-match, Rush and Janela shook hands in the ring and embraced. Lio then cut a promo thanking the fans, the guys in the back and everyone for getting the opportunity in Combat Zone Wrestling, noting that he started on the Dojo Wars shows with the company and that Janela has been a big part of his matches over the past three years, but now he leaves to seek new opportunities.
No Ropes, Barbed Wire Match (Once In A Lifetime Match)
Matt Tremont vs. Atsushi Onita originally started as a singles match, but ended up becoming a 6 Man Tag Team Match, as during the match, RAIJIN-Yaguchi and Hideki Hosaka attacked Matt Tremont, only for Danny Havoc & Rickey Shane Page to come out and make the save.
No Ropes, Barbed Wire 6 Man Tag Team Match (Team CZW vs. Team FMW)
Team FMW (Atsushi Onita, RAIJIN-Yaguchi & Hideki Hosaka) defeated Team CZW (Matt Tremont, Danny Havoc & Rickey Shane Page). Post-match, Onita got on the mic and challenged Tremont to come to Japan for another match, with Onita putting over that this time, there will be real explosions. Tremont got on the mic and told him that he will see him in Japan in October as Onita continued slapping him throughout his promo. Onita then got on the mic after a back and forth and thanked the fans for his first appearance in the United States in over 20 years.
