In an interview with John Pollock of Live Audio Wrestling/The Fight Network at last night’s UFC 203 pay-per-view, UFC President Dana White said that if former WWE superstar turned UFC fighter CM Punk chooses to continue to pursue his mixed martial arts dreams, that his next fight probably should not be in the UFC.

Punk fought at last night’s event against Mickey Gall and tapped out to a rear naked choke at 2 minutes and 14 seconds into the first round of the fight. Gall came out of the blocks and immediately took Punk down, with Punk avoiding being finished for a little while, before Gall eventually locked in the submission.

Punk noted in a post-fight interview that even though he lost, his fight and having the opportunity given to him was the second best night of his life, only behind his wedding night to former WWE Divas Champion AJ Lee. Punk talked about following his dreams and said that you go big or go home in life and that he will be back.
