In an interview with The Fight Network at the UFC 200 weigh-ins on Friday night, UFC President Dana White commented on the negotiations between the UFC and WWE and how everything went down to allow Brock Lesnar to make his return to the Octagon at the UFC 200 event, despite Lesnar being a contracted WWE superstar.

“It was Brock’s team, me, Vince McMahon and Triple H. Yeah, I mean, Brock Lesnar just weighed in up on stage and he’s fighting here, Saturday night. It went great, listen, Vince and I have had our ups and downs, you know, Vince is a tough character to deal with, he’s an animal, it’s one of the things that I respect about him, but I think he’s loosening up a bit on the UFC.”

White also commented on whether WWE will have any kind of promotional presence on the UFC 200 card and confirmed that the company will and said that he wanted to reciprocate the WWE for them allowing Lesnar to fight on the card this weekend and put over the company live streaming the weigh-ins on their social media platforms along with the UFC’s platforms.
