WWE SmackDown Live General Manager Daniel Bryan, who has been cleared to return to in-ring competition, will be required to undergo the ImPACT testing (Immediate Post-Concussion Assessment and Cognitive Test) after every match or segment that involves him getting physical as part of an agreement for the WWE allowing him to return to the ring, according to a report from Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer.

The report notes that the mandatory test is to monitor Bryan’s condition on a constant basis and to make sure that he does not fall below the baseline that has been agreed to. It is believed that the test will be analyzed by WWE’s Dr. Joseph Maroon and other doctors who have cleared Bryan to return to the ring to get their feedback on how Bryan is performing after initially being out of the ring for over two years due to previous concussion-related issues.
