In an interview with Rick Rockwell of the Fight Sports Examiner, legendary wrestler and manager J.J. Dillon, who will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame alongside The Four Horsemen, noted that it’s an incredible honor, before discussing his relationship with Vince McMahon at a certain stage of his career.

Dillon said that it’s an incredible honor and he is humbled beyond belief before stating that his career was a dream come true that spanned 45 years and what some people might not know is that he worked for the World Wrestling Federation in a management position for about 7 years, however things didn’t end so well and when he left the WWF, now renamed the WWE, himself and Vince McMahon didn’t speak for 10 years or so, until the company contacted him and asked him to be a part of Ric Flair’s farewell a few years ago.

Dillon stated that he was standing in the hallway with Tully Blanchard ready to go out to the ring and Vince McMahon came up to both of them, shook their hands and thanked them for coming, making it the first time that Dillon had spoke to McMahon since then and that it had opened doors for being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.
