June 14th: We know fans in the Midwest have been patiently waiting for news about the Dragon Gate USA events on July 28th in Taylor, MI and July 29th in Chicago, IL. The talent list is just coming together and we can confirm now that former Open The Freedom Gate Champion YAMATO will return to DGUSA on July 28th & 29th. This is YAMATO’s first time back in DGUSA since losing the title to Johnny Gargano. YAMATO sent word he is coming to re-established himself as a top player and he wants the best competition. Tony Nese Returns To EVOLVE

June 14th: The 2nd Annual Style Battle Tournament is set for EVOLVE 14-16 on June 28th-30th in Florida. The rules are set. Here’s a quick look at this unique tournament:

-There are four competitors. They are AR Fox (returning Champion, High-Flying Style), Bobby Fish (Puroresu JR. Heavyweight Style), Jon Davis (Power Style) and Tommy Taylor (European Style).

-Each competitor will wrestle each other in a round robin tournament over the three cards in Ybor City, St. Petersburg and Jacksonville.

-A competitor will earn 2 points for a win and lose 1 point for a loss. A double DQ or double countount will result in 0 points. The athlete with the most points at the end of the tournament will be declared the winner.

-There will be no time limits so there will not be any time limit draws.

-All Style Battle matches will follow standard EVOLVE rules and count towards each participants Record.

-In the event of a tie on the final day in Jacksonville there will be a sudden death playoff that night with all the tied participants.
