Early buyrates numbers released for the TNA Wrestling “Genesis” pay-per-view event indicate that the event did slightly better than other TNA Wrestling events, with an estimated 11,250 buys for the event that was headlined by a TNA World Heavyweight Championship match between Bobby Roode (c) and Jeff Hardy, as well as a grudge match between Kurt Angle and James Storm.

The buyrate is higher than the company’s Final Resolution 2011 pay-per-view event, which was only estimated to have drawn 8,000 buys, but down from Bound For Glory 2011, the company’s main pay-per-view event, which was said to have drawn 23,500 buys.
