Former UFC Heavyweight Champion Cain Velasquez, who was present at the WWE NXT television tapings this week and spent some time training at the WWE Performance Center, is reportedly keeping his options open regarding a WWE career, according to a report from ESPN’s Ariel Helwani.

Helwani noted in a tweet on his official Twitter account that Velasquez enjoyed his time at the WWE Performance Center, is open to options, is healthier than he has been in a while, but that his camp would not comment on Velasquez’s current contract status with the UFC.

Velasquez has not competed inside the Octagon for over two years due to reported bone spurs in his back preventing him from fighting, with his last fight coming at UFC 200 where he defeated Travis Browne.
