Former WWE superstar, Rusty Brooks, real name Kurt Koski, who wrestled for the company during the 1980’s has re-opened his popular Rusty Brooks Pro-Wrestling Academy, however the academy will not be based out of his warehouse, but instead from his own backyard, according to a report from UPI.com.

According to the report, Brooks, who helped train the likes of former WWE Superstars Montel Vontavious Porter and Gangrel, current WWE developmental talent Conor O’Brian and the late Luna Vachon, noted that due to the declining economy, he was led to move his pro wrestling academy from his old warehouse to his backyard in West Park, Florida.

One of Brooks’ current students noted that they don’t mind the change of facilities. Chris Jones, a 21-year-old student at Brooks’ pro wrestling academy stated that it is not the nicest of places, as it’s someone’s backyard, however people come to Rusty because of his knowledge, how well he knows his stuff and the history of the sport.
