Gabe Sapolsky, the Vice President of Talent Relations, Creative and Marketing of the World Wrestling Network (WWN) and the booker of EVOLVE Wrestling, addressed reports earlier this week that he had joined the WWE NXT Creative Team.

The news of Sapolsky was addressed in the NXT Conference Call this past week by Triple H who said that he enjoys having Sapolsky visit from time to time, noting that he likes what Gabe does, thinks he’s a smart guy that helps to get talent going in their careers and has a great place for talent to work where he can cultivate them. Triple H noted that when he has an opportunity for Gabe to be around them and learn from them and he can bring Gabe in and see how HIS mind works and think that it is good for everybody, then he wants to work with him and help them be able to do the same, reassuring that Gabe was not signed by the WWE in any form.

Sapolsky, in the WWN Alerts, responded and assured fans that he is not looking for a position with WWE NXT stating that he needs to thank Triple H for the humbling and nice words, before noting that it has been an invaluable learning experience for him being at NXT and that he is all about talent development. Gabe noted that his favorite part of the job is seeing the talent learn, improve, grow and then realize their dreams and said that the lessons he has learned from Triple H, William Regal and everyone at NXT has made him better as his job and said that everyone is incredible there.

Gabe said that there is no talk of a writer’s job at NXT and that he is not there for a tryout as had been reported, stating that he is there because they all want to have the best tools and ideas possible to lead professional wrestling into the future and that NXT is an opportunity for him to improve his skills and then spread that knowledge to everyone in WWN, whether that is directly to the locker rooms, to those who participate in the Seminars and Tryouts or anyone who joins the office staff with the New Promoter Initiative.
