Following the news yesterday that former World Wrestling Federation superstar, Henry Godwin, real name Mark Canterbury, was in a critical condition in an intensive care unit, after being involved in a car wreck and having two punctured lungs and multiple broken ribs, as well as a broken leg, an update on the situation is now available.

According to a report from Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com, Godwin was trapped in his car for at least an hour and once he was located, local authorities used the jaws of life to remove him from the car and he was airlifted to a nearby hospital. The report notes that Godwin underwent surgery last night and had both his spleen and appendix removed, with doctors removing his appendix, after discovering a growth on it and opting to remove it.

As noted previously on the website, Godwin has suffered two punctured lengs and multiple broken ribs, however the report also indicates that Godwin broke one of his legs in three places and also has a broken femur and has been somewhat responsive.

On behalf of the website, we would like to ask you to keep Henry/Mark and his family in your thoughts and prayers during this time.
