Steven Muehlhausen of The Fight Club Chicago sent along note that he recently conducted an interview with independent professional wrestler Steven Walters, who recently had a tryout match with World Wrestling Entertainment and revealed information on the company’s upcoming Cruiserweight-style show on the WWE Network. Walters has previously appeared on WWE television, including as an EMT in the John Morrison exit, as well as the cameraman in the Mark Henry angle as World Champion.

Walters noted that he’s been in contact back and forth with the WWE in regards to the WWE Cruiserweight-style show that they’re launching on the WWE Network and that the company are looking for guys in the 200lbs range, who are under 6ft tall and that he’s been going back with them a few times about the matter.

Walters noted that it wasn’t long after he did an angle for the company back in Decemeber that he was contacted about the show, noting that he got a chance to talk to John Laurinaitis a little bit at the event and had a one on one meeting with him, with the show being one of the things that Laurinaitis had approached him about.

Walters then went on to say that the two sides last talked about 3-4 weeks ago as he was informed that the company had to push the debut of the show back to later this year, potentially in November.
