Jeff Jarrett Is Set To Return To New Japan Pro Wrestling for “Power Struggle”

Global Force Wrestling founder and CEO Jeff Jarrett will return to Japan for New Japan Pro Wrestling’s “Power Struggle” on Nov. 8 from the Bodymaker Colosseum in Osaka.

Jarrett will be in the corner of former IWGP heavyweight champion A.J. Styles, who will take on Yoshitatsu. Yoshitatsu got involved with Jarrett and Styles in Styles’ loss to Hiroshi Tanahashi at the “King of Pro-Wrestling” event on Oct. 13.

“New Japan Pro Wrestling is attracting attention from fans everywhere, and I’m proud the Bullet Club has played a role in that,” Jarrett said. “I am greatly enjoying spending time in Japan and representing Global Force Wrestling in the Far East as we continue to fortify our relationship with NJPW. I can promise you the best of this partnership is yet to come.”

Power Struggle is the final major event before the huge NJPW “Wrestle Kingdom” show on Jan. 4 at the Tokyo Dome. The show annually draws more than 50,000 fans, and Jarrett and the rest of the Bullet Club are expected to appear.

Styles believse Yoshitatsu cost him his IWGP title and will be seeking revenge.

“Yoshitatsu never should have stuck his nose in Bullet Club business,” Styles said. “Jeff will be there to make sure nothing else happens, and I will regain my title in due time.”
