Former WWE performer JTG joined 411Mania to discuss his new book, DAMN! WHY DID I WRITE THIS BOOK?.

JTG discusses his journey into the wrestling business, his time in WWE developmental, the lessons taught to him by Rip Rogers and the creation of the Cryme Tyme gimmick. From there, JTG discusses is transition to the main roster, life on the road, having ideas turned down by creative and whether or not he felt they crossed the line in regards to race and stereo types.

JTG also talks his split with Shad, the hope that he could still succeed in his dreams of becoming a top star, how WWE’s treatment of Zack Ryder crushed morale in the locker room and much more.

JTG is very open about his time with the company, how long he held out hope for a chance and also addressed why he finally answered the phone on the day of his release.
