In an update on WWE signing La Sombra (Manuel Alfonso Andrade Oropeza) to a deal with the company, there are said to be some officials already high up on his work, with the feeling that he could be a big star for the company and like the return of Alberto del Rio, the company are looking for him to become a big star for the Hispanic audience.

La Sombra is expected to begin learning English shortly and is not expected to make his WWE NXT debut until early 2016.

Meanwhile, there are unconfirmed reports that New Japan Pro Wrestling’s Takaaki Kidani was upset regarding La Sombra choosing to sign with WWE over New Japan Pro Wrestling after La Sombra gave his notice to CMLL officials in Mexico back in August and that Kidani felt that Sombra choosing a WWE deal over working with New Japan was a massive shame.
