Armando Montalvo, the man who was shot by police outside of the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida back in 2015 has been found incompetent and has been sent to a mental health facility in the State, according to WKMG in Orlando.

For those unfamiliar with the story, Montalvo was shot by police in the parking lot of the WWE Performance Center on August 31st, 2015 and had a history of bizarre behavior outside the facility, which included him spreading his feces and his urine on the building. Montalvo was reportedly obsessed with former WWE superstar Lita, who was a frequent visitor at the WWE Performance Center during that time as she was filming her role on WWE Tough Enough.

On that day two years ago, police responded to a disturbance at the WWE Performance Center that was caused by Montalvo, which led to a confrontation, with police opening fire when Montalvo grabbed rocks at the facility and charged at one of the officers, which led to the officer shooting Montalvo in the chest. Montalvo survived and was charged with aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer, resisting arrest and trespassing. He had been out on bond, but his bond was revoked following another arrest that was not connected to the WWE Performance Center arrest. Montalvo’s next hearing is scheduled for January 31st, 2018.
