Former ROH World Champion and current New Japan Pro Wrestling superstar Michael Elgin will no longer be working with the Ring of Honor promotion as he is unhappy with how the company operates, according to a report from Pro Wrestling Sheet.

The report notes that Elgin informed Ring of Honor Wrestling this week that he no longer intends to work with them and has not even heard back from them to confirm that it was received. Elgin is reported to have been unhappy over the past year in regards to communication and focus on fresh talent, feeling that it was the perfect time to move on.

2017 will be a busy year for Elgin as he will be making his return from injury and launching his own promotion in Illinois called Glory Pro Wrestling.
