“Glory by Honor X” Rematch Set For NYC

Rhett Titus makes his return

As announced this weekend on “Ring of Honor Wrestling” TV available here for Ringside Members, Rhett Titus will make his in-ring return this Sunday at the “10th Anniversary Event” as he and ANX partner Kenny King take on the former ROH World Tag Champions Charlie Haas & Shelton Benjamin, Wrestling’s Greatest Tag Team! It was at “Final Battle 2011” that Titus had an already injured knee further damaged by The Young Bucks, forcing him to undergo surgery and keeping him on the shelf for the first couple months of the year.  Originally expected to be out for 3-4 months, through strenuous rehab Rhett has trimmed that timetable down to just two months and he & Kenny are looking to get back on track, get at The Young Bucks, and get at that ROH World Tag Title match they earned in a Proving Ground match weeks ago.

“We’ve got a title match in our pocket and a whole lot of time to make up for.” said Titus, “The Bucks took me down, they didn’t take me out, and me and Kenny will make sure that’s a mistake they get to regret.  For now though we’ve got our focus on Shelton, Charlie, and New York City.  In September we were on top of the world in the Big Apple, in December we felt like we were at the bottom of the barrel. So this time out we got our minds right, our bodies ready to fight, and we’re gonna show WGTT we can run all night!”

The former champs beat ANX at “Glory by Honor X” in a ROH World Title match but in December, Titus & King got theirs back, with a little help from The Briscoes, in a Proving Ground Match to earn a future tag title shot. Rhett’s injury put a hold on that championship bout so the ANX have had to sit back and watch Caprice Coleman & Cedric Alexander get their chance in Richmond while The Young Bucks get their shot in NYC, Team CHIKARA get their opportunity in Chicago Ridge, and now WGTT could potentially get a title bout in Ft. Lauderdale.  None of this sits well with Titus & King but they understand the two months on the shelf as a team has put them a few steps back…

“I see those chumps all getting their shots at glory.” said King, “Honestly all it does is p*** me off but in all the right ways.  See anger can be a proper motivation if you know how to channel it, use it to make you train harder, fight harder, be better. That’s what I and Rhett got fueling us right now, and in NYC, Charlie & Shelton will be feeling that.  Then, sooner than later boys, The Young Bucks will be feeling the wrath themselves!”

This Sunday in NYC, its ROH’s “10 Anniversary Event” and The All Night Express take on Wrestling’s Greatest Tag Team in a battle of top contenders!  Titus says he’s at 100% and he better be given the mean streak Haas & Benjamin have shown in recent months.  Which team will come out in victory?  Be there live to find out by getting your tickets here or order it live on iPPV at GoFightLive.TV for just $9.99 at http://www.gfl.tv/Events/Fight/Wrestling/Ring_of_Honor__10th_Anniversary_Show/1319/?refCode=GFLA152 or by clicking the poster below.
