- Following last night’s edition of WWE RAW going off the air, CM Punk and John Cena faced off in a Steel Cage match for the WWE Championship, where Punk emerged victorious thanks to help from Dolph Ziggler and Alberto del Rio. Following the match, Punk, Ziggler and Del Rio attacked Cena until Sheamus and Randy Orton came out to make the save.

- In a hilarious moment that didn’t make the air last night, during the Miz TV segment with Ryback and The Miz, when Ryback began throwing everything out of the ring, he tossed a live mic, which ended up in the hands of a random fan who began to chant “Goldberg, Goldberg, Goldberg” into the mic, which went out to the fans in attendance.

- For those that may have missed last night’s WWE RAW, the company showcased footage of WWE Hall of Famer Jerry “The King” Lawler returning home to Memphis, Tennessee and announced that Lawler would be featured on the show in a taped interview next week. Lawler was flown to Memphis on the company’s private jet and was driven home in a limosine.

- WWE SmackDown superstar Wade Barrett filmed a two-hour show for Kerrang in the UK yesterday, picking out some of his favorite songs. The feature is scheduled to air within the coming weeks.

- The referee during the main event of last night’s WWE RAW was developmental star Brad Maddox. The company have been using Maddox as a referee in recent weeks on television.

- WWE announced that Criss Angel will be the social media ambassador for next week’s show.
