Following the recent news that WWE SmackDown superstar Randy Orton tested positive for the usage of marijuana and dianabol, resulting in him being suspended for 60 days, Orton was called to the WWE’s headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut for a meeting on Friday afternoon with Vince McMahon, Triple H and others, which is described as not going as expected.
Questions were put to Orton as to why he would abuse his body by taking dianabol, normally used by weightlifters for muscle mass, seeing as he is considered a top-level superstar in the company. There were many feeling that Orton’s status should be lowered upon his return as an act of punishment, as well as a decision made on his contract, which runs until 2019, as one strike means that he would be out of the company and wouldn’t be allowed to return for a full year.
Vince McMahon was apparently frustrated throughout the whole meeting as it puts another black mark on the company’s suspension list this year, the most since the Signature Pharmacy scandal and believed that Orton had put his demons behind him.
