As we mentioned previously on the site, CM Punk was taken off WWE television to allow himself to heal from injuries and was not scheduled to return until near to the WWE Summerslam pay-per-view, however it appears as if WWE have nixed those plans and that Punk is nearer to a return, as he is now being listed to appear on the May 27th edition of WWE RAW from the Scotiabank Saddledome in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

Punk is also listed to appear on the June 3rd edition of WWE RAW in Hartford, Connecticut, which may give a clear indication that he will be appearing at the WWE Payback pay-per-view in his hometown of Chicago, Illinois. The former WWE Champion is also advertised for the June 17th WWE RAW tapings in Grand Rapids, Michigan, as well as the company’s brief tour of Japan at the start of July.
