In an update on Rey Mysterio and the WWE parting ways, Mysterio is expected to be signing with both AAA and Lucha Underground soon and it is expected that the AAA announcement will take place on Tuesday during the promotion’s press conference.

For promoters interested in booking Mysterio for their show on the independent scene, Mysterio is reportedly charging $20,000 per appearance, as he is looking to work a limited amount of dates. Mysterio has already been confirmed for a live podcast appearance with MLWRadio over WrestleMania weekend, as well as WrestleCon during the same weekend.
