The following results are from a recent Ring Of Honor Wrestling TV Taping. The taping took place at the Davis Arena on November 5th, 2011 and will air over the coming weeks on the Sinclair Broadcasting Network. Check your local listing for the airtimes, as to when Ring of Honor airs in your area.

In Ring Segment
Jim Cornette came out to get the crowd rallied up and said that it was good to be back in Louisville again and promised a great night of matches, surprises and everything else thrown in.

Dark Match (Non Televised Match)
Randy Terrez and Adam Revolver defeated Mohamad Ali Vaez and Rudy Switchblade.

TV TAPING #1

Singles Match
Mike Mondo defeated Alex Silva.

Singles Match
“The Prodigy” Mike Bennett (w/Brutal Bob Evans) defeated Jamin Olivencia.

American Strong Rules Style Match
Davey Richards defeated Kyle O’Reilly (w/Tony Kozina) when Kozina threw in the towel. Following the match, Truth Martini came in to the ring and made Davey Richards an offer, however Richards and O’Reilly beat up on Martini to end the first taping.

TV TAPING #2

Tag Team Match
The Briscoe Brothers (Mark and Jay Briscoe) vs. Cedric Alexander and Caprice Coleman was declared a no contest, due to interference from Wrestling’s Greatest Tag Team (Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin).

2 On 1 Handicap Match
“Unbreakable” Michael Elgin (w/Truth Martini) defeated Raphael Constantine and Sean Casey.

ROH TV Title Match
Jay Lethal (c) vs. El Generico went to a 15 minute time limit draw. As a result, Jay Lethal retains the ROH TV Title. Following the match, Mike Bennett who was sat at ringside for the match, took out Jay Lethal, before El Generico made a dive, taking both men out. The crowd chanted for 5 more minutes, however not their wish as the dive from El Generico ended the second taping.

TV TAPING #3

Singles Match
Tommaso Ciampa (w/Prince Nana, Ernesto Osiris and Princess Mia) defeated Shiloh Jonze.

In Ring Segment
Kevin Kelly got in the ring after a bit of a delay following the previous match and was quickly followed by Jim Cornette, Steve Corino and Jimmy Jacobs and then shortly thereafter by Kevin Steen. Steen came out with his attorney Christian Mascagni, who is a regular for Ohio Valley Wrestling and an attorney in real life. Jim Cornette got on the mic and said that while Kevin Steen is a great wrestler, he is also a crazy son of a b**** and an a******. Steen told Cornette that his comments don’t insult him and said that Cornette is a hypocritical piece of garbage and said that he helped to carry this company for a year, however Cornette hates him, all because he can’t control him.

Steve Corino then got on the mic and said that he helped to create the mess that the company finds itself in, however Steen took things too far. Steen then got on the mic again and made the comment of the night, noting that Steve Corino and Jimmy Jacobs must have had their balls cut off, as they remind him too much of what Jim Cornette is like. Corino said that he had an idea and that he wants to face Kevin Steen at ROH Final Battle on December 23rd and said if Kevin Steen wins, he is reinstated to Ring of Honor Wrestling, however Jimmy Jacobs will be the special guest referee, under orders of Jim Cornette. Steen said that he loved the idea and demanded that Cornette has a ringside seat at Final Battle, so that he can watch the man he loves to hate up close and personal, return to Ring of Honor.

Tag Team Match
The Young Bucks (Nick and Matt Jackson) defeated Future Shock (Adam Cole and Kyle O’Reilly).

TV TAPING #4

Tag Team Match
Cedric Alexander and Caprice Coleman defeated The Bravado Brothers (Lancelot and Harlem Bravado).

Singles Match
TJ Perkins defeated Chris Silvio.

Proving Ground Match
The All Night Express (Rhett Titus and Kenny King) defeated Wrestling’s Greatest Tag Team (Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin). As a result of the win, under Proving Ground rules, The All Night Express will be granted to a future tag team title opportunity against Haas and Benjamin.

TV TAPING #5

Singles Match
Eddie Edwards defeated Andy “Right Leg” Ridge.

Proving Ground Match
Davey Richards defeated “Unbreakable” Michael Elgin. Following the match, Michael Elgin started to attack Davey Richards until Eddie Edwards ran in and tried to make the save but ended up accidentally hitting Richards on the back of his head with the ROH World Title belt. Richards then got p***** off at Eddie and attacked Eddie, which brought out Kyle O’Reilly and Tony Kozina, who attempted to calm things down to no avail. Jim Cornette then came out to break things up to no avail also and called for help from the back, to which Nigel McGuinness got up from his commentary position to calm the situation down. The two finally were pulled apart to end the show, with both men really hyping the weeks leading in to ROH Final Battle.
