Former WWE superstar Sami Callihan recently took over as the head of the Combat Zone Wrestling team to help lead the company into them shaping their future, according to a report from Pro Wrestling Sheet.

The report notes that Callihan and his team will be handling the creative and promotional side of things from now on, while Combat Zone Wrestling President DJ Hyde will be focusing on managing the back-end business of the company and that while the company have been known for promotion death matches and things like the Tournament of Death and Cage of Death, those will still be happening, but will no longer be featured at the forefront of the promotion.
