Scott Casber, an announcer for USA Wrestling and owner of TakeDown Wrestling Radio is featured in an interview with FOX Sports, who look at Kurt Angle’s aspirations at making the 2012 Olympic Games in London, England with Casber stating that he doesn’t think Kurt Angle has a shot at being successful in his second attempt at Olympic gold.

Casber stated that Kurt Angle doesn’t have the ability to wrestle at the peak that he would need to wrestle at to make a team, let alone compete with the champions of the world and that Kurt just doesn’t have it anymore and he doesn’t think it is because Angle is 43 years old, rather it is because Kurt’s body is worn out from pro wrestling. Casber then made a point that you don’t take chair shots, you don’t take jumps off the top rope in a steel ring and expect your body to hold up very long in Olympic wrestling, which is why Kurt won’t make it.
