Despite working the majority of his professional wrestling career and coming in to the WWE roster on it’s ECW brand as a heel, current WWE SmackDown superstar, Sheamus stated that he is currently loving his role as a face on the “Blue Brand”, in a recent interview with Fighting Spirit Magazine, based out of the United Kingdom.

On working as a babyface in the WWE, Sheamus noted that it’s strange, however he’s really enjoying himself and that he’s been able to let his guard down and get into things, without getting his back against the wall, noting that he was used to the fans throwing abuse at him and bringing posters and other things to events, but he’s feeling a lot more like himself out in the ring these days and that the most important thing in the business is a reaction, whether you’re getting booed or cheered. Sheamus noted that he loved the reaction from the crowd booing him when he was facing the likes of John Cena, Triple H and Randy Orton and that he loves it how the fans have turned the switch on all that and are cheering for him now and as long as the reaction is strong, positive or negative, he’s happy, however when the arena goes quiet and you can hear a pin drop, then he’ll be worrying.

Sheamus also commented on never facing The Undertaker thus far in his WWE career, noting that he’s wrestled the likes of Randy Orton, John Cena, Triple H and Shawn Michaels and others, who have been great opponents, but a match against The Undertaker would be a dream come true and a fantastic match. Sheamus then using his comedic wit, noted that it would be two gingers knocking lumps out of each other and as much as The Undertaker tries to hide it, he’s a ginger and he’s someone who has never faltered and is stronger now than he ever was.
