The following results are from a recent WWE NXT taping. The taping took place on July 18th, 2018 at the Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida and will air on July 25th, August 1st, August 8th and August 15th, 2018 at 8pm Eastern on the WWE Network.

Please Note: The tapings may air out of order as the WWE NXT Championship match between Aleister Black and Tommaso Ciampa is scheduled to air on the July 25th episode, despite being taped as part of the August 1st episode.

Jeet Rama defeated Chase Adams.

TAPING ONE

Singles Match
Adam Cole defeated Sean Maluta. Post-match, Ricochet came out and challenged Adam Cole to a match at WWE NXT Takeover: Brooklyn IV. Adam Cole declined, which lead to Ricochet calling him a coward. Roderick Strong and Kyle O’Reilly came out, however the War Raiders (Hanson & Rowe) came out to even the odds. The Undisputed Era attempted to sneak away, however Moustache Mountain (Trent Seven & Tyler Bate) came out and attacked them.

Singles Match
Lacey Evans defeated Tenilla Price.

Tag Team Match
Heavy Machinery (Tucker Knight & Otis Dozovic) defeated The Mighty (Shane Thorne & Nick Miller). During the match, Street Profits (Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins) came out and distracted The Mighty, which allowed Heavy Machinery to pick up the victory.

Tag Team Match
Moustache Mountain (Trent Seven & Tyler Bate) defeated ??? & ???.

Singles Match
EC3 defeated Kona Reeves. During the match, The Velveteen Dream came out to try and distract EC3, to no avail.

TAPING TWO

Singles Match
Shayna Baszler defeated Candice LeRae. Post-match, Shayna Baszler attempted to re-apply the chokehold on Candice LeRae, however Kairi Sane came out to make the save.

WWE NXT Championship Match
Tommaso Ciampa defeated Aleister Black to become the new NXT Champion.

TAPING THREE

Singles Match
Nikki Cross defeated Amber Nova.

Entrance Segment
Ricochet came out for his entrance, but was attacked by The Undisputed Era. Adam Cole said that he is not a coward and accepts Ricochet’s challenge for NXT Takeover: Brooklyn IV.

Kassius Ohno defeated Adrian Jaoude.

Keith Lee defeated Marcel Barthel.

Street Profits (Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins) defeated The Mighty (Shane Thorne & Nick Miller).

In Ring Segment
WWE NXT Champion Tommaso Ciampa made his way out to a huge chorus of boos. Ciampa got on the mic and said that this is now his NXT and that all he needed was one moment to become Champion. Ciampa argued with someone in the front row and said that becoming Champion proves that he is always the winner and Johnny Gargano is the loser. Ciampa said that this is now the A show and that he is the greatest sports-entertainer in the world. Aleister Black made his way out, however Johnny Gargano also came out and ran past Black and attacked Ciampa. Gargano said that this is not Tommaso Ciampa’s NXT as long as he is still breathing and said that Ciampa is only the NXT Champion because of him. Aleister Black hit Gargano with the Black Mass to the head.

Kairi Sane defeated Aliyah. Shayna Baszler was on commentary for this match.

Singles Match
Tyler Bate defeated Roderick Strong.

In Ring Segment
The Velveteen Dream came out and cut a promo on EC3 and said that he knows that Full Sail is used to having it their way, but now, it is The Dream’s time. EC3 interrupted, poking fun at Dream, before hitting him with the One Percenter.

Singles Match
Aleister Black vs. Johnny Gargano was declared a no contest due to interference from WWE NXT Champion Tommaso Ciampa. WWE NXT General Manager William Regal came out, to a huge ovation from the fans and announced that at WWE NXT Takeover: Brooklyn IV, Tommaso Ciampa will put his title on the line in a Triple Threat Match against Aleister Black and Johnny Gargano.
