Killian Dain (w/Eric Young) defeated Danny Burch.

Tag Team Match
Heavy Machinery (Tucker Knight & Otis Dozovic) defeated ??? & ???. Post-match, Heavy Machinery cut a promo calling out The Authors of Pain.

Singles Match
Sonya Deville defeated Lacey Evans. Deville is the former Daria Berenato, while Evans is the former Macey Estrella.

Aleister Black defeated Cezar Bononi.

#1 Contender’s Match For The WWE NXT Championship
Hideo Itami defeated Roderick Strong. Post-match, SAnitY hit the ring and attacked Roderick Strong.

TAPING TWO (Airing May 10th)

Tag Team Match
The Street Posse (Angelo Dawkins & Montez Ford) defeated HoHo Lun & Dylan Miley. Post-match, Dylan Miley attacked HoHo Lun.

Singles Match
Drew McIntyre defeated Sean Maluta.

Singles Match
Kassius Ohno defeated Andrade “Cien” Almas.

In Ring Segment
DIY (Johnny Gargano & Tommaso Ciampa) came out and said that they never had a fair, one on one rematch for the WWE NXT Tag Team Championships and challenge The Authors of Pain to a match at WWE NXT Takeover: Chicago. Riddick Moss & Tino Sabbatelli interrupted. Tino said that the tag team division has changed and they are going to bury the entire division and said that the line starts behind them. Ciampa said that if there was a line, then they just crossed it and attacked Moss and Sabbatelli.

Tag Team Match
DIY (Tommaso Ciampa & Johnny Gargano) defeated Riddick Moss & Tino Sabbatelli. Post-match, WWE NXT General Manager William Regal came out and announced that at WWE NXT Takeover: Chicago, it will be The Authors of Pain versus DIY in a Ladder Match.

TAPING THREE (Airing May 17th)

In Ring Segment
WWE NXT Champion Bobby Roode came to the ring and said that everywhere he goes, he keeps hearing about Hideo Itami and admitted that Hideo knocked him out while he was standing here minding his own business in a $5,000 suit unprovoked and said that it will never happen again and that at NXT Takeover: Chicago, he will be in his gear ready to take care of business and make an example out of Hideo Itami. Roode said that Itami was here, then gone, then back, then got hurt and he did not even realize that Hideo was still employed, while he himself has taken NXT to new heights. Roode said that he beat Shinsuke Nakamura twice and he tucked the violin between his legs and left NXT and said that at least Shinsuke accomplished something here, but Hideo has failed in WWE NXT. Hideo came out, but was stopped by WWE NXT General Manager William Regal and security. Itami cleared the security and attacked Roode, however the security stopped him again. Itami attacked the security, however this time Roode attacked him. Itami countered an attack from Roode and hit him with the GTS.

Battle Royal To Determine The #1 Contender For The WWE NXT Women’s Championship
Ember Moon vs. Nikki Cross vs. Ruby Riot vs. Victoria Gonzalez vs. Bianca Blair vs. Rachael Ellering vs. Sonya Deville vs. Lacey Evans vs. Kimberly Frankele vs. Candice LeRae vs. Aliyah vs. Liv Morgan vs. Billie Kay vs. Peyton Royce was declared a no contest due to interference from WWE NXT Women’s Champion Asuka. The final three left in the match were Ember Moon, Nikki Cross and Ruby Riot. After the match, WWE NXT General Manager William Regal came out and announced that at WWE NXT Takeover: Chicago, there will be a Fatal Four Way Match, as Asuka will defend her title against Ember Moon, Nikki Cross and Ruby Riot.
