The following results are from a recent WWE SmackDown TV Taping. The taping took place on March 3rd, 2015 at the Verizon Center in Washington, DC and will air on March 5th, 2015 at 8pm Eastern on the SyFy Network.
In Ring Segment
Dolph Ziggler came out to open the show with the WWE Intercontinental Championship in his hand and said that he never got a rematch when he lost the belt, but announced that he will get his shot at WrestleMania when he takes part in the ladder match for the title and said that one person still missing from that match is Daniel Bryan. Bad News Barrett interrupted and demanded that Dolph Ziggler returned his title at once, however Luke Harper sneaked behind Ziggler and took him out. Harper, Barrett and Ziggler all brawled for the title, however Dean Ambrose came out and joined in. R-Truth sneaked in as the others were brawling and escaped with the belt.
Tag Team Match
Tyson Kidd & Cesaro defeated Los Matadores (Fernando & Diego).
Singles Match
Ryback defeated Kane (w/The Big Show). Post-match, Kane got on the mic and told Ryback to stay in the ring, because he has to compete again.
Singles Match
The Big Show (w/Kane) defeated Ryback. Post-match, Bray Wyatt appeared on the titantron and cut a promo directed at The Undertaker.
In Ring Segment
The Bella Twins came out and cut a promo, with Nikki stating that it is give the Divas a chance, not give AJ Lee a chance and said that she has been representing the Divas, while AJ Lee has been at home, but if AJ wants another chance, then she’ll give her one.
Singles Match
AJ Lee (w/Paige) defeated Brie Bella (w/Nikki Bella).
Backstage Segment
Daniel Bryan was shown backstage and said that the ladder match for the WWE Intercontinental Championship might be a show-stealer at WrestleMania this year and that he is looking forward to seeing who wins the match.
Tag Team Match
The New Day defeated The Miz & Damien Mizdow. Post-match, the cameras cut backstage to Jack Swagger telling Renee Young that he is going to shut Rusev up tonight. The cameras then cut to Roman Reigns backstage responding to Paul Heyman’s promo from WWE RAW and said that he knows that Brock Lesnar will hurt him at WrestleMania, but when its all said and done, he’s going to take everything he has and come back with more.
Singles Match
Rusev (w/Lana) defeated Jack Swagger. Post-match, Curtis Axel appeared on the titantron and cut a promo about how #AxelMania and that he is coming for Rusev’s WWE United States Championship.
Tag Team Match
Dolph Ziggler & Dean Ambrose defeated Luke Harper & Bad News Barrett. Post-match, Barrett attacked Ambrose and Ziggler and then turned his attention to R-Truth at ringside and demanded his title back. Truth was about to give it to Barrett, however Dean Ambrose attacked Barrett, leading to Truth fighting off Luke Harper and escaping up the ramp. Daniel Bryan was stood at the top of the ramp as Truth made his way up and Truth handed him the title. Bryan celebrated with the title, but was attacked from behind by Stardust who climbed the ladder on the stage and posed with the title to end the show.
