In an interview with Bill Apter for the Is Wrestling Fixed podcast, Steve Corino responded to reports that he has signed a WWE deal to become a coach at the WWE Performance Center, noting that he is still under contract with Ring of Honor Wrestling until December 31st and then will be working the New Japan Pro Wrestling “Wrestle Kingdom” event on January 4th and the annual post-Wrestle Kingdom event at the Korakuen Hall on January 5th.

Corino noted that he will see what happens after those events and can not predict what is going on and said that he is not going to lie and say that he is not keeping his options open regarding his career and is going to see what is out there for him and said that he will do anything that Ring of Honor ask of him until that time and made it clear that he is not saying that there will not be a future with Ring of Honor as they have been his home for the past several years. Corino discussed how he was on the first ROH show and has been with the promotion now for 7 straight years and loves the company and people that work for ROH.
