In an update on Sting’s negotiations with the WWE, a report from The Wrestling Observer Newsletter notes that the former WCW & TNA Wrestling star has not yet signed a deal as WWE are said to be dragging their feet and are in no hurry to get Sting locked into a deal in time for WrestleMania, which Sting was looking to be part of, pushing to face The Undertaker at this year’s event.

The report notes that because Sting lives in the Dallas, Texas area, he would be willing to meet up with The Undertaker and work out their match in private over and over again until everything is right, which is what The Undertaker’s opponents have done in the past several years and that there was some concern that Brock Lesnar may not be willing to spend several extra days working at an undisclosed location with The Undertaker to work out the entire match.

The internal belief in the WWE is that Sting will be in sooner than later, with some hopeful that he appears on the February 24th edition of WWE RAW just hours prior to the official launch of the WWE Network.
