Ring Of Honor Wrestling sent out the following:

For the first time since September’s ALL STAR EXTRAVAGANZA VII pay per view, the stars of Ring of Honor return to San Antonio’s Shrine Auditorium Saturday April 23 for a night of the Best Wrestling on the Planet! The fast-paced, hard-hitting ROH action seen locally every Saturday morning at 11:00 AM on KABB Fox 29 and Sunday nights at 9:00 PM on KMYS CW 35 returns to the Lone Star State as part of the Conquest Tour!

There is nothing like seeing Ring of Honor LIVE and ROH Matchmaker Nigel McGuinness ALWAYS delivers when signing matches for San Antonio. McGuinness has a SAN ANTONIO STREET FIGHT for April 23!

SAN ANTONIO STREET FIGHT
BJ WHITMER vs ADAM PAGE

San Antonio has hosted some of the wildest brawls in professional wrestling history. Names like Terry and Dory Funk, Kevin Sullivan, Buzz Sawyer, and the Sheepherders left everything in, and sometimes outside of, the ring in some of the hardest hitting battles ever seen. With eyes on creating a match worthy of carrying the lineage of Texas feuds like Chris Adams versus Gino Hernandez and the Von Erichs versus the Freebirds, Nigel McGuinness has signed a no-holds barred, SAN ANTONIO STREET FIGHT between BJ Whitmer and Adam Page!

In 2015, Whitmer guided Page to heights he had yet to see in Ring of Honor through deplorable methods. Once the Young Boy of the Decade, Page used 2015 to become a full-fledged member, turning his back on the fans in the process and aligning himself with the dastardly Whitmer.

But 2016 would be different. In Concord, NC, Steve Corino, suspended from commentary and not yet medically cleared to return as a wrestler, revealed that he could not yet fight but he recruited someone who has been itching to fight his battles for him! Page feels Whitmer has led him down the wrong path with the wrong attitude and is ready to be his own man. On the Winter Warriors tour, Page and Whitmer had to be separated in Indianapolis, while Page was jumped the next night in Collinsville, and then Page got his revenge in Duluth!

In Nasvhille, Page and Whitmer agreed to meet at 14th Anniversary after the two couldn’t keep their hands off one another prior to a singles match between Cedric Alexander and Page. Whitmer emerged victorious in Las Vegas on Pay Per View but Page, with the fans now firmly behind him, seeks revenge on his self-centered mentor!

Will Steve Corino be in Page’s corner? Can Page maintain his focus long enough to win the match or will the veteran Whitmer use Page’s anger and aggression to his advantage? Whitmer says he has won the war but McGuinness has granted Page this rematch that surely won’t be limited to wristlocks, waistlocks, and collar and elbow tie ups!
