Speaking through his official Twitter account, TNA World Heavyweight Champion AJ Styles commented for the first time since “leaving” the company on last Thursday’s Impact Wrestling.

Meanwhile, a report from PWInsider.com notes that the company are allowing AJ to defend the TNA World Heavyweight Championship outside of the company, thanks to their working relationships with AAA in Mexico and WRESTLE-1 in Japan. The belief is that AJ will wrestle for both promotions and claim to be the real TNA World Heavyweight Champion, which will eventually lead to him coming back to TNA Wrestling and facing off against the “Interim” Champion down the line.
