Tag Title Match Announced For CHIKARA’s Return To Philadelphia

CHIKARA Pro Wrestling sent out the following:

At “Tomorrow Never Dies,” The Throwbacks (Dasher Hatfield & Mr. Touchdown Mark Angelosetti) will make their second title defense against The Devastation Corporation (Max Smashmaster & Blaster McMassive!) Both teams have traded wins and losses this season and considering the rivalry they’ve developed, it seemed inevitable these two tag teams would eventually collide!

The Throwbacks cemented their place in CHIKARA as the year’s top tandem! They won the Tag World Grand Prix by beating The Devastation Corporation in the finals on May 24th! Then, the stepcousins-in-law defeated the Pieces of Hate (Jigsaw & The Shard) at “The World is Not Enough” to capture los Campeonatos de Parajas! Hatfield and Angelosetti have made one successful title defense so far by beating 2-time Campeones 3.0 (Shane Matthews & Scott Parker) last Sunday at “For Your Eyes Only!”

The Devastation Corporation are riding a massive wave of momentum! As a powerful force in The Flood, they’ve dominated their competition in tag team or trios action! Under the guidance of “The King of Managers” Sidney Bakabella, Smashmaster and McMassive, along with their partner, Flex Rumblecrunch, won the celebrated King of Trios Tournament in September by defeating The Golden Trio, consisting of CHIKARA Grand Champion Icarus and The Throwbacks!

Will The Throwbacks retain their titles and end The Devastation Corporation’s path of destruction through CHIKARA or will Smashmaster and McMassive crush the Campeones and bring the belts back to The Flood?
