WWE superstar and The Shield member Dean Ambrose suffered an eye injury during his match with Daniel Bryan at this week’s WWE SmackDown tapings. Ambrose was checked out by WWE’s medical staff after the match and will not miss any in-ring time.

During WWE RAW on Monday, it was announced that Kane will face off against Dean Ambrose of The Shield.

WWE announced tonight that despite his injury, WWE Champion John Cena will be teaming with Ryback to take on The Shield (Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins & Roman Reigns) in a 3 on 2 Handicap match on tonight’s edition of WWE RAW. Cena is also expected to address his injury on tonight’s show.
