The October 19th edition of Lucha Underground on the El Rey Network drew 118,000 viewers for the first-run showing. The replay of the show that aired drew an additional 51,000 viewers. In comparison, last week’s show drew 135,000 viewers for the first-run and 46,000 viewers for the replay.

The September 21st edition of Lucha Underground on the El Rey Network drew 134,000 combined viewers, down from last week’s 154,000 combined viewers. The show drew 99,000 first-run viewers and 35,000 viewers for the replay. The April 20th edition of Lucha Underground on the El Rey Network drew 149,000 viewers, up from last week’s 139,000 viewers. The replay of the show drew 49,000 viewers, which was down from 66,000 viewers the week prior.

Lucha Underground recently registered to trademark Barrio Negro, D.O.D, Disciples of Death, El Sinestro de la Muerte, Trece, Ultimalucha, Pascual Mendoza, The Golden Warrior and Delavar Daivari. Meanwhile, the promotion are already in the planning stages for the “second season” of the show.

The El Rey Network have announced that they will be running a Lucha Underground marathon this Sunday, December 14th from 12:30pm to 7:30pm Eastern, meaning that they will be airing the first seven episodes of the series.

The El Rey Network have cancelled the Matador TV series after one season, with no reason given for the series being cancelled by El Rey Network. The series involved former WWE Diva Eve Torres in a supporting role.
