WWE have a new article on their official website, noting that former WWE Divas Champion and the last-ever WWE Women’s Champion Layla has announced her retirement from the ring. Layla joined the company in 2006 after winning the Diva Search competition that year.

WWE Diva Layla was pulled from the road and underwent surgery earlier this week, according to a report from PWInsider.com. The report notes that it is unknown as to what exactly Layla’s injury is.
