Legendary Japanese wrestler The Great Muta (aka Keiji Muto) will be inducted into the 2023 WWE Hall of Fame on March 31st, according to a report from PWInsider.com. WWE announced during Friday’s episode of WWE SmackDown on FOX that Rey Mysterio was the first name confirmed for the 2023 WWE Hall of Fame.

Japanese wrestling legend The Great Muta made a surprise appearance during today’s NJPW Battle Autumn Day 9 event, helping Toru Yano advance to the Quarter Finals of the NJPW WORLD Television Championship Tournament. During the match between Yano and The Great-O-Khan, Muta appeared and misted The Great-O-Khan, allowing Yano to secure the victory.
