TNA Wrestling announced earlier this evening that Zema Ion will defend his TNA X-Division Championship at tonight’s TNA Bound For Glory pay-per-view against Trevor Lee.

Speaking through his official Twitter account, former WWE superstar Cody Rhodes noted that his 90-day non-compete clause with the WWE will expire on August 19th and teased that he will be appearing at several events on the independent scene, as well as potentially going to Japan. Brian Myers and Trevor Lee defeated The Wolves (Davey Richards & Eddie Edwards) at last night’s TNA Wrestling tapings to become the new TNA World Tag Team Champions. For those wondering, Myers (the former Curt Hawkins) and Lee are part of the “invading” Global Force Wrestling roster.
