Shayna Baszler & Kairi Sane Appear At WWE NXT Live Event

WWE Mae Young Classic participants Shayna Baszler and Kairi Sane made appearances at last night’s WWE NXT live event at the St. Petersburg Armory in St. Petersburg, Florida. Sane teamed up with Dakota Kai and Aliyah to defeat the team of Baszler, Billie Kay and Peyton Royce.

Kairi Sane Dealing With Concussion

WWE Mae Young Classic Tournament competitor Kairi Sane suffered a concussion during the tapings earlier this month, according to a report from Pro Wrestling Sheet. The report notes that Sane is also said to be dealing with neck pain, but will be back in action early next month.

SPOILER: Finals Confirmed For WWE Mae Young Classic Tournament

The finals of the WWE Mae Young Classic Tournament, which will take place live immediately after SmackDown Live goes off the air on Tuesday, September 12th will see Shayna Baszler face off against Kairi Sane. Baszler defeated Mercedes Martinez in their Semi Final match, while Sane defeated Toni Storm in their Semi Final Match.
